Diet Diary

So, if you’ve read this at all, I’ve fluctuated with my weight since starting this but I think it’s finally beginning to work! I am down to 202 pounds, which is 7 pounds since I started doing this! I am so excited! I am almost under 200 again! I was before the holidays (like back in November), but I just gave up during the holidays and look what happened! I almost got back to my weight before then (217). I am so excited about finally losing some and it feeling like it’s working. Pants I haven’t been able to wear in awhile fit. I have a pair of brown pants that I bought at Fashion Bug when I originally lost all the weight and they are those Right Fit ones (love them), but they are a different cut than the others because they only had limited ones in the size that I am in (the largest one of the non-plus size, though they don’t call it plus size anymore, but I know it’s not plus size, so I’m okay with it). Unfortunately, if you know anything about them, each of the sizes are made in three different styles and the brown ones aren’t what I would normally wear but I wore them to work for the first time in forever this week and they fit and I didn’t feel like I had to come home and rip them off! I am so excited! The pants I wore yesterday have been tight recently too and they fit and were a little loose (don’t get me wrong, I know that they were not falling off, but I could fit my fingers in there). That is enough to make me a happy camper! Thank you again for all your support! I greatly appreciate it! Stacie, you still are the best and I love you for it!

Well there was tryouts for girl part (Audrey), and I thought I did pretty good. Well my friend Katie got it. So what ever. The jealousy washes away quickly for me. Well at practice today I got complemented by Cory!!! :) :) :) I felt special!!! I hope that means I may have a solo in the near future!!! Keep hoping!!! :)

Diet Diary – Lost track of day number

I haven’t done this in awhile and I’m sorry. Partially because I promised Tommy that I would work on my website if he would help me start one up and partially because I would be forced to do something about my weight if I was broadcasting it over the internet. Things have been at a little stale mate, though I’m doing alright with it. I did go to Sears though and try on a couple of pairs of jeans. The 14′s would have zipped up if I laid down, which I knew would make for a very uncomfortable day if I did that and the 16′s fit. I decided to just get a pair at Walmart though, as that’s what I’ve worn forever and I know them. Well, I couldn’t get in to the 14′s or the 16′s! I was so upset! I think this was the day before Valentine’s Day, because I don’t think I knew what I was going to wear yet. I did go in to Old Navy that same day and bought a skirt, an XL though the L fit, I just didn’t want to wear it the way it looked. I bought a cute shirt too. There goes at least one of my resolutions. I’m not a size 12 yet. That was kind of crazy anyway. So Valentine’s night, I went out to dinner with Eric, and while waiting for our table, I had to use the rest room. While in there, a wonderful woman asked when the baby was due! Can you believe that? I would NEVER, EVER ask a woman that unless I knew for sure she was pregnant and then not even until someone else mentioned it! I couldn’t believe she said that and instead of coming up with some good come back, my jaw just dropped and I couldn’t say anything to her other than I wasn’t pregnant and Happy Valentine’s Day! Well, this past Thursday, I found myself at the mall again because of Zachary and went into Old Navy. They were having a sale on jeans and I thought, let’s try again. I picked up a pair of 14′s and a pair of 16′s. Tried them both on. They both fit! The 14′s zipped even without having to lay down, but were a little tight. I wanted a pair of jeans though so I was going to get the 16′s but I thought, no. I don’t want to buy that size, I want to go down a size, so I’ll buy the 14′s and where them when they fit. I got up Friday morning, casual day at work, and put those suckers on and wore them all day to work. They were tight in some areas, but the shirt covered it and it wasn’t an uncomfortable tight! You know the kind where once you get in the car away from people, you unbutton and unzip your pants. I didn’t feel like that! They were comfortable all day! A little happy with that! Haven’t been to the gym though in a week, maybe longer, and really need to get there! My back has been hurting a lot more and I think it has to do with not going to the gym. Who’d a thunk it! Oh well! Love you all!

Hey well you know how we said that Jade and I were going to make music videos… well we figured it was too hard to do that so… we are going to make videos making fun of famous events in worlds past! I cant wait. The first 1 is about the New Jersey vs. the Virginia plan. James Madison turns into the hulk. But thats all I can tell you. So I will post when I put that up… Bye!!!

Diet Diary – Day 30

Had a dream that I lost another 2 lbs but not the case.  No change in weight today.  Oh well!  I guess I’d rather have no change than the issues I had last week!  Didn’t make it to the gym yesterday, but got to see Rachel, Victor and Lauren.  That was good!  They all look great, though tired.

Diet Diary – Day 29

So, I need to thank you Stacie for all your support!  You’re my biggest supporter and I can’t thank you enough!  Every time I post a new one, you are always saying what a good job I am doing and I greatly appreciate it!  You help me keep at it!

Last night I went to the gym again and worked pretty hard, though not as hard if Eric was there.  Brittany got bored pretty quick and it was just her and I, so I flew through the arms and stomach exercises.  Kind of sucks, but I still did 35 minutes on the bike and 30 minutes on the treadmill on top of the other machines.  Both include a 5 minute cool down.  Even after eating a McDonald’s burger with extra onions and a fry, I still woke up and weighed myself, something I said I wouldn’t do this morning.  We didn’t get home and start eating until around 8:30, I lost .7 pounds.  Not a ton, but something!  I’m trying to eat better normally and it’s working, but I never really stopped at home yesterday, heading right to Sante’s wake first and I was starving so I had to eat at some point.  Unfortunately though, all this water drinking had me in the bathroom 12 times before leaving work (yes I counted).  I had to stop at Cumby’s on the way to the wake (there was no way I was going to make it up the stairs at home) and we only stayed at the wake for a couple of minutes and I pee’d at the gym when we got there and once I was changed, I pee’d again before heading to start my workout.  Kind of sucks actually!  Oh well.  Probably more information than you wanted.  I’m good at that!  Love you!

Diet Diary – Day 28

So the gym has finally worked!  I hadn’t weighed myself in quite some time because I was hating looking at the scale, but I have lost 3.1 pounds!  Yeah!  Some of last week may have been girly issues too, as I was in the middle of that thing.  Last night I killed myself at the gym though and did 35 minutes on the stationary bike, 35 minutes on the treadmill and then did my legs and stomach on the machine.  Tonight will be arms instead of legs and then everything else.  Just between the bike and treadmill, I burned about 450 calories!  Go me!  I’m almost back under 200 lbs, between 202 and 203.  The thing said my Wii Fit age is 58 though today.  I don’t feel it!  I feel great!

Diet Diary – Day 27

So, off to the gym again.  I didn’t get over there this weekend like I should have because it was just a crazy weekend for us.  Unfortunately, most weekends are pretty crazy for us!  I didn’t get on the scale this morning either, because I didn’t want to know after yesterday.  With the Super Bowl, I did a lot of picking at things I shouldn’t have been picking at, but it was good.  Oh well!  Need to eat and then head to the gym.  More later.
