So I’ve gotten in to sewing more than I was in the past, more than just some quilts and I’ve made a purse or four. I’m having fun with it and going to attempt a cosmetic purse next and then maybe a shirt or skirt…cross your fingers that it works.

Thing 1 and Thing 2 Blanket
So I have finished another blanket and love it!! I’m so proud of this one and I got paid for it! Love that!! Even had some to make a couple of wubbies too!!
Willow Grace’s Blanket
And the next blanket in my growing line of blankets is done. This is for my friend Julie’s daughter who is due in January. I wish you could feel how soft it is! I used a different fabric on the back instead of a sheet to make it as soft as I possibly could and it is so soft! I want to keep it for myself!!

Kimmy’s blanket continued again…
I got all the tedious part of the blanket done! I am so excited! I still have some pictures to add and don’t know if I should do it before adding on the back or if it will be okay to do it when I am fully done, though I still need to find the right color for the back. I found it last night, but not in a twin size, only in a queen and I don’t want to cut off that much. Besides, it was a full set and She won’t need the queen fitted sheet. Here is a picture of it so far. There are some issues, and you don’t have to look too closely but I’m still pretty proud of it! I can’t wait to finish it and start on Angie’s next!!

So I am super excited as my idea is starting to take shape! I can’t believe it! It looks amazing! Yes, there are some squares that don’t fully line up but it’s still beautiful. I will have this done by the end of next week, though I am not sewing on the back until I can add a few extra pictures, as there are no pictures of Mikayla yet, as she isn’t born and I don’t have a picture of her Grandmother on there yet. I hope she likes it…

Kimmy’s blanket
So I started planning out how I’m going to put her blanket together and I think I’m super excited about the outcome! I’m going to do each square with two different fabrics and have a 4 x 4 block of them. In each of those blocks, there will be one white spot with a picture in it. It will be a random block in each of them. Maybe two, but definitely one! Super excited about it! Though not that I’m looking at the picture, I might rearrange again. Too dark at the bottom. Might switch it up so the darker of the white background ones are in the corner…Oh no! I went back and forth with this thing so many times already!
Kimmy’s Birthday Present
So I’m working on my next quilt and pretty excited about this one! Kimmy’s will be black and white with a purple background (as of right now, that color might change). There will be a surprise, that I will tell more about later (though I have said it a few times to some people). I can’t wait! I’m excited about this one. Here are the fabrics that I have picked out.
